About Us
Becky Wilkins
Becky Wilkins RN, Clinical Director
External Affairs Clinical Spas
Born in Smithers, BC, Becky was a natural leader. Her passion for learning and caring for the needs of others led her to the Royal Alexandra School of Nursing. Becky received her RN status in 1988 and began working in orthopedics. Following the Ralph Klein cut backs of the 90’s; Becky decided to put her training and leadership skills to the test with the founding of External Affairs Clinical Spas. A seemingly driven individual, Becky advanced her ideas and passion for better results to a point that a lot of people got on the Becky band wagon including her husband, Larry.
Three kids and fifteen years later, Becky’s talents and passion for serving the needs of her clients seems to outstrip her ever-expanding following. Trade marked ideas like Body Rx medically assisted weight loss and Skin Rx clinical skin care are just two of Becky’s creations that are poised for national recognition. Company insiders work relentlessly trying to keep up with her demands for better results for the clients.
Becky’s motto:
"Better results for the clients". "Better results for the clients".
Clients Quote:
" Becky spends time with me, makes me feel important".
" Becky is my girl. She takes it slow and steady".
" She always educates me on the latest procedures, and has referred me to a great plastic surgeon".
" I trust Her. She really knows what she is doing".
" I fly in from Vancouver Island three or for times a year to let Becky work her magic. A girl is allowed to have a few secrets.
Larry Wilkins
Larry Wilkins was raised in Southern Ontario in a blue collar, country community that prided itself on work ethic. His work ethic was honed in Canada’s Arctic where the norm was 84 hours/ week of hard labor.
A passion for human performance led him to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree from Pacific Union College in Northern California.
Larry eventually teamed up with his wife Becky Wilkins RN (External Affairs Founder) and relieved her of the business duties allowing her the freedom to do what she loves and does best.
Larry applied his work ethic and discipline to the study and practice of Permanent Make up.
Renown as one of Canada’s elite permanent make up artists, he now trains EA artists to carry on the tradition of Excellence. Larry is credited with pioneering the safe and effective removal of eyeliner, brows, and lip liner. His specialty is shape and color corrections.
Larry:
"It has always amazed me that it takes a hair dresser almost 2 years to become certified but you can get your permanent make up certificate in a week. My apprentices work with me in the room for a period of one year. I don’t leave anything to chance when it comes to our reputation".
Jolee Smith
Jolee Smith was born in London,Ontario. Fascinated by skin, beauty and helping people feel better about themselves, Jolee was an early bloomer. By age 16 she knew her post secondary education would include study in the field of esthetics.

Missing the atmosphere of External Affairs, Jolee returned to EA to continue her carreer development. Her charming, warm personality makes Jolee perfectly suited to this industry and anyone who has spent any time with her will understand why she was welcomed back with open arms.
Jolee,”Returning to External Affairs has been like coming home. They encourage me to share my knowledge with both staff and clients.
