Hi, my name is Becky! My husband and I opened External Affairs Medical Spa in 1995 and it's been my passion ever since. My experience in the medical aesthetics industry is unparalleled, both as a clinical trainer and as an entrepreneur. I have over 15 years of injectable experience and have completed well over 30,000 injections at External Affairs Medical Spa. My training includes a preceptorship with Dr. Arthur Swift for BeautiPHIcation, training with Dr. Lucie Khourie, Dr. Barb Loiskandl, Dr. Martin Braun, Dr. Vance Elliott, Dr. Kevin Smith, Dr. Andreas Nikolis, Dr. Mauricio de Maio and Dr. Rajani. When I’m training, my approach to teaching cosmetic injections is focused on safety first. Understanding the anatomy and physiology of the facial skin, muscles, fat, nerves, vessels, and bones is the guiding principle of teaching cosmetic injections. Additionally, balancing the needs of the clients with a desirable aesthetic outcome requires communication skills that are often new to medical professionals. My years of experience as an entrepreneur enable me to share this knowledge in a powerful and effective way. I enjoy reading relevant journals and ongoing development of my colleagues. I enjoy the challenge of continuing to grow existing and new businesses. When I’m not doing that, you’ll find me hiking up a mountain with my dog, cooking for my friends and family, or enjoying life with my husband of 32 years.
