Acne Spot Treatment Before and After

Why do I need blue light?

Bacteria plays a key role in acne development and persistence. While acne is caused by an excess of sebum (an oily substance that lubricates the hair and skin), bacteria is what causes inflammation and redness to occur - resulting in more severe acne.

Designed to target the bacteria directly, the wavelength of blue light has an antimicrobial effect. It is an incredibly effective way to kill several types of breakout-causing bacteria and the perfect addition to a chemical peel!
