Achieve an even complexion!

Designed to target vessels, brown spots, age spots, and redness, our pigment spot treatment is perfect for addressing smaller areas affected by uneven pigmentation. This treatment is also known as a mini photofacial!

Change the look of your skin.

Our pigment spot treatment combines both Broadband Light (BBL) and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology. Targeting unwanted pigment, this laser combination can significantly reduce brown and red discoloration. This includes:

  • Rosacea

  • Facial spider veins

  • Telangiectasia

  • Some acne scarring

  • Brown spots

  • Age spots

  • Freckles

  • Solar lentigos

What to Expect

Whether you’re looking to target stubborn pigment spots or pesky spider veins, our pigment spot treatment may be the treatment for you.

A consultation with our skincare expert will determine whether your skin tone is suitable for pigment spot treatment, as the light may cause hyperpigmentation on certain skin tones. If deemed a candidate, our highly trained clinical aestheticians will create a custom treatment plan for you.

If you’re receiving this treatment for spider veins, the consultation is important as BBL technology only treats smaller spider veins. During your treatment, wavelengths of high-intensity light are used to close the vein. The procedure is described as a quick snap like an elastic band as the pulse is delivered to the vein.

We work to ensure you are as comfortable as possible and that any discomfort is minimal by using medical-grade numbing cream before the treatment. Following the procedure, it is recommended that you apply sunscreen to the treated areas. You’ll see results usually within a week, but multiple treatments may be required.

I am beyond impressed with the service I receive at each appointment. The staff is very welcoming and will make sure you’re at ease and all of your questions and concerns are answered prior to treatment. The laser technicians are patient and comforting during your sessions and my results have been amazing! 10/10!

  • The heat and energy emitted from our IPL laser gets absorbed directly into the targeted pigment spots, which breaks them apart into smaller particles. It is expected that the pigment will become darker before gradually lightening or disappearing altogether.

  • The heat and energy emitted from our IPL laser gets absorbed directly into the capillaries, which causes the veins to shrink or disappear.

  • The pigment spot treatment is relatively comfortable, with minimal discomfort. The heat emitted can leave a slightly warm or tingly feeling post-treatment. Some patients compare the sensation to that of being flicked by a finger.

  • If you have stubborn brown spots or pesky facial veins, you could be a great candidate! We love all skin types but, in order for our laser to work its magic, we must ensure that your skin is compatible with our technology. A consultation is always recommended, prior to receiving treatment, to ensure you can enjoy this service safely and effectively.

  • We recommend enjoying the pigment spot treatment in colder months. This is because our IPL lasers are not compatible with tanned skin.

  • Our IPL laser is not ideal for those with tanned skin, which is why we recommend this treatment in the colder months.

  • Determining how many treatments you may need will depend on the severity of discoloration and the results you are looking to achieve. Pigment and redness issues don’t happen overnight and sometimes it takes years to accumulate the discoloration. This means that it will likely require multiple treatments to achieve your best results. Typically, clients join us for 2-4 sessions on average.

  • Minimal downtime is experienced since we are only targeting small areas or individual spots.

  • You may experience some redness and/or swelling, but this will subside. It is common when receiving this treatment for pigment spots to appear darker before they lighten.
