Secret™ RF Microneedling
Remodel collagen from the inside out.
Whether your skin is showing signs of wrinkles, you’re dealing with acne scars, or you have stretch marks that are affecting your confidence, Secret™ RF microneedling can help!
Secret™ RF is an innovative fractional radio frequency (RF) microneedling system designed to stimulate and remodel collagen. The device delivers precise, controlled energy at multiple depths to address patients’ common skin concerns on their face and body with little to no downtime.
What does Secret™ RF microneedling address?
Secret™ RF is a heat-based microneedling treatment designed to target the following:
- Sun damage, scaly patches, or rough texture
- Acne scars and other forms of scarring or discoloration
- Lines and wrinkles
- Stretch marks
- Sagging skin and jowling
- Redness and broken blood vessels
- General dulling and early signs of aging
- Post-pregnancy abdominal issues
- Loose skin on arms, legs, and abdomen
How does Secret™ RF microneedling work?
Secret™ RF combines microneedling and radiofrequency energy to deliver controlled heat to the deeper layers of the skin. The device uses tiny needles to penetrate the skin, creating microscopic channels, while simultaneously emitting RF energy into the targeted areas. The combination of microneedling and RF energy stimulates the production of collagen and promotes skin rejuvenation, improving the overall texture and appearance of the skin.
BEFORE + AFTER
What to Expect on Your First Visit
Before your treatment, discontinue the use of AHA’s, retinol or glycolic products 5 days prior, and avoid alcohol 24 hours prior. Arrive with a clean, make-up free face, and your hair pulled back off the face.
Your technician will go through your consent form and pictures will be taken and added to your file. The skin will be cleaned, and a topical numbing cream will be applied and allowed to sit for about 30 minutes. During the treatment, you will feel slight pressure and tingling while the micro-sized needles penetrate the skin and deliver the heat to stimulate collagen production. The treatment is tolerable and the technician will work with you to maintain your comfort level throughout the entire session.

During the Secret™ RF microneedling treatment, patients may experience a sensation of heat, or a slight pricking sensation as the needles penetrate the skin. Depending on your pain tolerance, some may experience mild to moderate discomfort - individual experiences may vary. However, a topical anesthetic is typically applied before the procedure to help minimize potential discomfort.
-
Some clients may see initial improvements in skin texture and tone within a few weeks of the first treatment. However, optimal results usually develop over a period of several months as collagen continues to rebuild. Please note that individual responses to the treatment may vary.

Your skin may look red with possible swelling. You may see square imprints of the cartridge as well as pin-point bleeding - which may result in potential bruising. It’s common to feel slightly warm and tight for approximately 45 minutes post-procedure. You can expect the redness and possible swelling to last up to 12 hours.
You may cleanse the treated area 12 hours after treatment and apply the product recommended by your technician.
The total healing time depends on the settings used and the number of overlapping passes your technician performs. On average, patients are red between 2 to 4 days. Many patients heal completely in as little as 24 hours.
We recommend the following after your treatment:
Wait at least 4 hours before washing face or applying soap, cream or makeup to the treatment area.
Avoid products containing paraben 48 hours post-treatment.
Avoid sun exposure and use a broad spectrum (UVA/UVB) sunscreen.
Avoid heat such as hot tubs, and saunas for 1-2 days.
Avoid skin irritants a few days before and after treatment. Skin irritants include: products containing tretinoin, retinol, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic/salicylic acids, vitamin C/ascorbic acid, astringents, scrubs etc.

Although Secret™ RF and Morpheus8™ are both RF microneedling treatments, there are a few differences between the two:
Secret™ RF heats the facial tissue to a higher temperature, so it stimulates a stronger response in the skin. Morpheus8™ heats the dermis to a lower temperature, but it penetrates deeper into the skin. Therefore, if you have a low pain tolerance, or if you have sensitive skin, Secret™ RF will typically feel more comfortable and tolerable.
